AN028 Cancer - Mammary Gland Tumours. Naturopathic Immune formulas for all species
Over 85 percent of mammary tumors in cats are malignant and they tend to grow and metastasize quickly. Like breast tumors in humans, they start as a small lump in a mammary gland. Often, more than one mammary gland is affected. This disease is preventable by having female cats spayed before six months of age.
Symptoms and Types - Mammary gland tumors begin as masses underneath the skin.
However, over time they can become aggressive and ulcerate the skin. Cats tend to lick and groom the area excessively, and a strong odor can result as the tumor becomes necrotic and infected. General signs of ill health like anorexia or depression are often seen as the disease progresses.
Benign and malignant tumors of the mammary glands occur fairly frequently in unspayed female dogs, in fact, they are the most common type of tumor in the group. Spaying can largely reduce the risk of developing this type of cancer, especially if the dog is spayed before it has an opportunity to go into heat. There are two main types of mammary gland breast tumors, each with several subtypes of tumor growth.
Symptoms and Types
- Usually slow-growing single or multiple masses in the mammary glands - about half of patients have multiple tumors. May have superficial loss of tissue on the surface of the skin over the mammary tissue, frequently with inflammation. The mass may be freely movable, which implies benign behavior. Maybe fixed to skin or body wall, which implies malignant behavior or cancer.
About half of the affected dogs will be diagnosed with the benign form of mammary tumors, which may be classified as complex adenomas, simple adenomas, fibroadenomas, and duct papillomas. If Benign - See the AN307 Set.
A condition called "Hypercalcemia" which means *excessive amounts of calcium"
Hypercalcemia is commonly associated with solid cancers such as multiple myeloma and breast cancer, but it may occur with lymphoma as well. As the serum calcium level increases, it leads to renal failure, constipation, and nausea/vomiting. In advanced stages, hypercalcemia causes cardiac arrhythmias and coma.
By adding Magnesium (mineral) in daily meals will help prevent or treat hypercalcemia. Magnesium drops (we use the ReMag Magnesium Solution liquid).
We can provide smaller bottle 30ml of this to get you started OR order a larger bottle 240ml from Dr. Carolyn Dean Website.
Re-vaccinating your pet, when sick, would be like pouring gasoline (petrol) on fire. No pet should ever be revaccinated, not ever, without a “Titre test” to see if it's actually needed.
NO PET SHOULD EVER BE RE - VACCINATED, NOT EVER, WITHOUT A TITRE TEST TO SEE IF IT'S ACTUALLY NEEDED.
It makes no difference what country you live in, either.
Non-Drug Prescriptions. Mammary Gland Tumour Set of 6 . Clinical Naturopathic Immune formulas for all species
Whether your dog has had surgery or not, now is the time to work alternatively. If your dog or cat have recently had surgery, most likely tumor cells will often spread and aggressively come back in the same area of sutures or along further on the mammary glands. Helping your pet's immune system is the key, so a tumor can be worked on without making the situation worse. We will provide instructions for using the topical paste.

(a) “HOMEOPATHICS”are sold in either a clear liquid or tiny white pills or granules – both have no odour or taste) Easy “application dosing” for all species:
Refer to Bottle Label for suggested frequencies repeat dosing needed per day.
NOTE: the rule is one must “repeat a dose” more frequently with less time in between each application dose, which is more important than the amount given each time. Repeat application will provide faster action.
(b) “HERBAL MEDICINES ” (brown liquid – strong odour & tasting) ”Application dosing” for all species and sizes: Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat : add herbal drops (as recommended on bottle label) to some (unsweetened apple sauce or apple juice) for canines and oral syringe side of mouth. Can add other vitamins (crushed) Alkaline green powders etc. to mix.
Refer to Bottle Label for amount of drops per species size. e.g 60 drops = 1 teaspoon
What I do for example: If I was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to a small bowl add some boiled water (about a teaspoon) to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)
(c)“NUTRITIONAL Mix ” Giving vitamins and supplements (tablets or powders) Note: always crush tablet before adding to food or liquid mix. Felines or small animals: make up 1 cup of mixture, adding approx. a pinch of some type of Green powder (alkaline powder) or Chlorella powder (cleansing of toxins) or 1/4 Teaspoons of Slippery elm powder (to mask the taste) with 1 teaspoon of herbs if you are having to also give herbal medicines (i.e. brown liquid) Med to large animals: add twice to three times the amount.
DOSING: Feline or small animal: using an oral syringe draw up 1ml and gently small sips. Or add a teaspoon to meals if they don’t mind eating it with meals (mix well into food) Do not put in Fridge. Room temp is best as too cold is dislike by felines.
DOSING: Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat: try mixing well into food and hand piece before feeding main meals. Or dose same as suggested for felines, but add three times as much herbal medicines and vitamins to 1/2 cup of water or (unsweetened) apple sauce or apple juice.
What I do for example: If i was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to 1/2 cup of boiled hot water to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …. smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)
Slippery Elm Powder If needing to add or use Slippery Elm powder
FOR CONDITIONS like …. diarrhea, stomach ulcers, or sore inflamed mouth or mouth ulcers, constipation, or IBS (i.e. colitis), plus it can also been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids.
CONVALESCING ..can been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids or not eating very well. ~ Add a small amount of powder to the mix to enough to make a runny liquid mix, if you put too much of the powder it will become thick and gluggy, if this happens you will need to add more liquid to it. Can add crushed vitamins and herbal medicines to this as well. OPTIONS: Oral dose in syringe or add to meals three times a day or more to maintain normal health again, then can stop or reduce frequencies.

We are Rottweiler Breeders and back in June 2007 one of our girls \Lori\" was diagnosed with a MAMMARY TUBULOPAPILLARY ADENOCARCINOMACOMMENTS this is a malignant mammary tumour. The lump and mammary glad was removed by our vet but the Tumour extended to the margins in the sample tested
so it started to grow back. Straight away Lori was started on the hampls natural mammary gland cancer products with the recommendation of Holistic Animal Medicines and her diet changed completely. Two years later and at 8 years of age Lori is still with us and going strong. We would personally like to thank all the staff at Holistic Animal Medicines for all their support.
Just started on the mammary gland tumor treatment for my 11 year old wimeriner. She definitely shows signs of improvement in her overall stature. The tumor is very large and the black salve has made changes in the color of the tumor and the consistency is not as moist., it is showing signs of drying. Some improvement after using for only about 2 weeks.
