Information of Kidney Health – naturally!

Kidneys and the vital role they play in keeping your body functioning, and if we add toxins, chemicals drugs or foods, this puts even more stress on an only 20% or less functioning kidney.

The kidneys main function is to remove waste products from our blood through urine.  In other words, the kidneys are the main exit of lymphatic acids out of the body.

Kidneys are the main door out.

  • Vitamin And Mineral Deficiencies
Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can end up being the underlying causes for several health concerns. For instance, when it comes to your kidneys, being deficient in vitamin B6 and magnesium (one of today’s top nutrient deficiencies) can increase the risk of kidney stones.  (it is a myth that vitamin c can cause stones)
  • Too Much Protein
Although felines are designed to eat fresh raw meat, which provides a good quality type of protein, as the cat ages, its the red meats, that are difficult to processes which can increase the metabolic load on your kidneys.
The over-consumption of red meat tends to overwork your kidneys. To prevent this overload we suggest lessening the amount of red meat, and offer more fresh white meat (as they still need good quality protein) .. chicken, turkey and once a week fish (if your cat likes fish)
  • Protein in Urine  (Proteinuria)
If occasionally or temporary high protein in urine that is fine but if continuously high protein in the urine
    * Read more information and remedy AN019-7
When your kidney damage gets worse and big amounts of protein escape through your urine, you may see the following symptoms:
~ Foamy, frothy or bubbly-looking urine.
~ swelling in legs and feet (more obvious or seen with in humans)

Conditions that can cause a temporary rise in the levels of protein in urine, but don’t necessarily indicate kidney damage, include:

Cold direct exposure
Emotional stress
Fever
Heat exposure
Difficult workout

Diseases and conditions that can cause constantly elevated levels of protein in urine, which may show kidney disease, include:

Amyloidosis (accumulation of irregular proteins in your organs).
Particular drugs.
Chronic kidney disease.
Diabetes.
Glomerulonephritis (inflammation in the kidney cells that filter waste from the blood).
Goodpasture’s syndrome (disease involving the kidneys and lungs).
Heart disease.
Heart failure.
High blood pressure (hypertension).
Hodgkin’s lymphoma (Hodgkin’s disease).
IgA nephropathy (Berger’s disease) (kidney inflammation resulting from an accumulation of the antibody immunoglobulin A).
Kidney infection.
Leukemia.
Pericarditis (inflammation of the sac that surrounds the heart).
Rheumatoid arthritis.
Urinary tract infection (UTI).

Lead Poisoning (possible poisoning)

due to lead and its compounds has short and long-term effects primarily on the nervous, hematopoietic, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, renal and reproductive systems.

  • If continuously high protein levels in urine  * Read more information remedies AN019-7
  • High phosphorus Levels
    * DRUGS Phosphorus binders is Aluminum Hydroxide, probably not a good option, as it is a heavy metal.
    * Read more information AN248 Boron (ReMyte).
  • High Ammonia levels  – Bacteria in your gut and in your cells create ammonia when your body breaks down protein. Ammonia is a waste product. … It leaves your body in your urine. But if you have certain health conditions, like kidney or liver failure, your body can’t make or get rid of urea.

Ignoring the lymphatic system and the waste it must dispose of and be focusing strictly on the blood & colon.
Creating many chronic conditions, we have previously overlooked the essential issue of your body’s great sewer and main immune system.

~ Kidneys  (kidneys is the main exit of lymphatic acids of the body)
~ Adrenals (low energy, emotional).

Most people and pets have weak kidneys and adrenals.

When we think about it, the body has TWO predominant types of waste (by-products) to get rid of:

DIGESTIVE WASTES
These are by-products of digestion and what our pet’s consume or don’t absorb. These wastes are removed by the large intestine (the colon). This, of course, is food and stool matter. The liver can dump by-products this way as well.

CELLULAR WASTES
These wastes and by-products come from the cells and their metabolic processes. Consider that the physical body has over one hundred trillion cells that make up all the tissues, organs, glands, structures, etc.  Each cell produces waste!  … This is a lot of waste!

There are other minor wastes from bacteria, fungus, and other actions and/or parasites. These wastes, as well as a lot of cellular wastes, are dumped into the lymphatic system, and from there are filtered through the kidneys.

Lymphatic waste can also be filtered out the skin  (often referred to as the body’s “third kidney”).
Ignoring the lymphatic system and the waste it must dispose of and focus strictly on the blood & colon. Creating many chronic conditions, we have previously overlooked the essential issue of the body’s great sewer and main immune system which is The Lymphatic System!

HOW YOUR PET’S BODY ELIMINATES WASTE:

The Colon
(food, un-absorbed food nutrients, and large wastes from other organs)

The Kidneys
(cellular waste from the lymphatic system)

The Skin
(the 3rd kidney, also filters lymphatic waste and gasses)

When the kidneys do not effectively filter the lymph, the creatinine in your pet’s blood will rise.  At .7 health is starting to get into trouble.

Your pet’s kidneys are the main eliminative organs for there body’s Lymphatic (sewer) system. When your kidneys lose their ability to filter the cellular wastes (acids) out of your their body, they back up—just as sewage from any other sewer system would.

This “back up” of acids is called INFLAMMATION.

Even though felines are designed to be more acidic system compared to humans and canines, felines seem to commonly acquire kidney disease as they age, compared to canines.

From this point forward pain is a reality, as well as swelling and the destruction of the respective tissues. Little pimples sores, itchy skin, cysts and even tumors begin to form.  The frightening thing is that this inflammation becomes systemic (whole body)Cancer cells are simply cells damaged by their own acid wastes. Cancer is not an entity that can travel to other tissues (cells) and magically turn them into cancer cells. However, the acid condition that leads to this cell damage is systemic.

The fire is the acidosis (inflammation).

Fanconi Syndrome

There are three main types of acquired Fanconi Syndrome (chicken jerky treat ingestion – from China, gentamicin nephrotoxicity and idiopathic) and an inherited form as well (most common in Basenji dogs but may occur in other breeds). The physical manifestation of Fanconi syndrome will depend on the underlying causes of that particular case. Because bodies affected by this syndrome excrete increased and excessive amounts of certain vital substances, the bones and muscles can be heavily impacted.  This impairment affects bone metabolism and can manifest through bone pain and extreme muscle weakness. Hypokalemia (also spelled hypokalaemia, is a low level of potassium in the blood serum) which may also develop, which also presents with muscle weakness.

Dogs with Fanconi syndrome may demonstrate the following symptoms:

Lethargy
Vomiting
Lack of interest in eating
Diarrhea
Excessive thirst
Excessive urination
Weight loss
General weakness
Seizures (in 15% of cases)

Minerals – Magnesium and Potassium

Is Magnesium needed?

Yes, as it is common for a pet to have Low potassium levels in Renal Failure is called “Hypokalaemia” .

What causes hypokalemia?
Magnesium deficiency
is also associated with low levels of potassium in the blood (hypokalemia).
The most common cause of hypokalemia is chronic kidney failure, a condition common in older cats.
Severe or chronic vomiting may also cause hypokalemia in cat or dog.

Published case series suggest that around 25% of cats with chronic renal failure suffer from hypokalaemia – partly due to inadequate potassium intake, but also as a result of inappropriate potassium loss from the kidneys. Although dietary management (feeding of a renal diet) is successful in managing some of these, cats not eating the diet (or those remaining hypokalaemic in spite of dietary management) will benefit from additional potassium. Consequences of hypokalaemia include worsened renal function, weakness, loss of appetite and, in severe cases, muscle necrosis (hypokalaemic polymyopathy).  Severely hypokalaemic cats may be presented with severe generalised muscle weakness including ventroflexion of the neck.    All of the consequences of hypokalaemia are reversible with appropriate treatment. Severely hypokalaemic cats (potassium less than 2.5 3.0 mmol/l) and those that are dehydrated  or  anorexic may benefit from intravenous potassium chloride.

Cats with potassium levels between 3.0 and 4.0 can be supplemented orally.

A starting dose of 12 mmol twice daily is recommended, this can be increased as needed following reassessment of potassium levels. Hypokalaemia is best prevented by feeding a high quality protein (which is not found in commercial tin foods), non acidifying diet supplement.

Oral supplementation is safe and there is no danger of inducing hyperkalaemia through this route of supplementation.

Low potassium causes

Low Potassium Causes and Side Effects.
Sodium and potassium play unique roles within the body.  If sodium levels are high, your potassium levels are low.  If your pet may have low levels of potassium, they may experience side effects such as abnormal heart rhythms, a breakdown of muscle fibers, constipation, fatigue, and muscle weakness or spasms.
Symptoms usually occur when there is a dramatic drop in potassium.
You may not always experience side effects if your potassium levels are slightly off balance.

Potassium (mineral)

Humans need about 4500mg of it a day from all source

Low potassium – symptoms
– Potassium is important for a pet or person’s muscles to work effectively, including the heart.  Potassium also has a role in regulating blood pressure.   So if your pet has got High Blood Pressure, then to get this back down, we need to give ¼ teaspoon of Potassium Gluconate powder (from capsule) in meals twice a day.  Or dilute in some liquid and oral syringe.  Low potassium levels (hypokalaemia) can cause weakness as cellular processes are affected.  Potassium is a mineral ( electrolyte) in the body. Almost 98% of potassium is found inside the cells. Small changes in the level of potassium that is present outside the cells can have severe effects on the heart, nerves and muscles.

The kidney is the main organ that controls the balance of potassium by removing excess potassium into the urine.

* Low potassium causes
   Dehydration,
Diarrhoea,
Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) a are common causes of low potassium levels.

Other causes include medicines that affect the amount of potassium in the body, such as diuretics, also known as water pills.

Note:  Albumin test (Proteinuria), to check the presence of excessive or continuously high amounts of protein in the urine, can be an early sign of kidney disease. And if the Creatinine levels are fine, they use the Proteinuria 19-7 Herbal formula.  However, often by the time you notice something is wrong, the blood test will normally show the CREATININE (BUN) Levels that are high (body waste), this is why allopathic medicines cannot help as they are chemical toxins and will only compound the situations and cause more stress on kidneys.
Therefore using RenoAid 19-1 drops in conjunction with SubQ fluids for felines give only 80ml just under the skin daily for a couple of weeks will help dramatically bring down waste levels.

* Sub-Q fluids (dribbled under the skin) per session of 200ml to 300ml medium size dogs, 500ml for large pet.

6. HAMPL Fluid Circulation & Cellular Hydration 19-6  50ml
Energetic formula:
Nat Mur (Dilution: 3X, 30C) – that helps distribute the water evenly throughout the body, sending it where it is needed at a given moment. e.g dryness causing difficult stools – constipation extra supply will go to this area in the colon.  Nat Mur is rehydrating at the cellular level, as a fluid Balancer. Without Nat Mur cell division and normal growth cannot proceed.  Another important function of Nat Mur is the production of hydrochloric acid. Too little acid means slow digestion and when the body’s fluids become too acidic, minerals are pulled out of bones and tissues to compensate.
Above all Nat Mur restores the fluid balance our cells need daily.
Nat Phos (Dilution: 12X) – uses liquid to balance the acidic – alkaline mixtures in the body, as kidney failure pets tend to get too acidic.
Nat Sulph (Dilution:  12X) – this is our Eliminator or excess fluid in the body.  As long as it is sufficient, the liquids will be removed. When it is lacking, however, the body has to produce fever and sweating in order to remove it – any condition where there is a profuse loss of fluids (or sweating), may be an imbalance of this salt.
Magnesium Mur (chloride) (Dilution: 30C) – helps magnesium in the loop of a henley. Aids absorption in needed areas – colon.
HAMPL Cellullar Hydration 5M formula –
Brotanum (Dilution: 200C)
Ars alb (Dilution: 12C)
Camphora  (Dilution: 6X)
Carbo veg  (Dilution: 1M)

Cuprum met  (Dilution: 200C) (spasms)
Phosphorus   (Dilution: 200C)
Veratrum alb  (Dilution: 6C)
Bryonia (Dilution: 200C) –  has dry mucus membranes, described by the patient as “parched”. So dry that he must drink huge quantiles of water, only to feel physically full, but still wanting more! Bryonia will bring the fluid deprived body back to balance, allowing the water to become officious and to restore order to the cellular structure of the body, struggling from lack of fluid.
Electrolyte imbalance
Kalium phosphoricum
Natrum phosphoricum
Magnesium phosphoricum
Calcarea phsophorica  (Dilution: 6X, 5M)
in 20% USP alc. in purified water.

* Works on  prevention or relief of waterlogged tissues, blood pressure regulator, helps distribute the water evenly throughout the body, used in heat fatigue, sunstroke, and poor or sluggish circulation, spasms, difficult stools due to being dry in the colon.

*See PDF HELP SHEET beside the product set.

Kidney Infection called Pyelonephritis
* Read more information and remedy AN019-8

Symptoms

Signs and symptoms of a kidney infection might include:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Back, side (flank) or groin pain
  • Abdominal pain
  • Frequent urination
  • Strong, persistent urge to urinate
  • Burning sensation or pain when urinating
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Pus or blood in your urine (hematuria)
  • Urine that smells bad or is cloudy

Or

Protein in Urine (Proteinuria)

When excessive levels of albumin in urine are detected for prolonged periods.Proteinuria is increased levels of protein in the urine. This condition can be a sign of kidney damage.

What causes proteinuria?
In many cases, proteinuria is caused by relatively benign (non-cancerous) or temporary medical conditions. These include dehydration, inflammation and low blood pressure. Intense exercise or activity, emotional stress, and exposure to cold can also trigger proteinuria. In addition, a kidney stone in the urinary tract can cause proteinuria. When your kidney damage gets worse and big amounts of protein escape through your urine, you may see the following symptoms:
~ Foamy, frothy or bubbly-looking urine.
~ swelling in legs and feet (more obvious in humans)

For Kidney Infection – Pyelonephritis

HAMPL Microbial Kidney Infection “Pyelonephritis” 19-8
* if needed request we also provide this formula when ordering

Symptoms

Signs and symptoms of a kidney infection might include:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Back, side (flank) or groin pain
  • Abdominal pain
  • Frequent urination
  • Strong, persistent urge to urinate
  • Burning sensation or pain when urinating
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Pus or blood in your urine (hematuria)
  • Urine that smells bad or is cloudy

HAMPL Microbial Kidney Infection “Pyelonephritis” 19-8  formula 50ml   ($55AUD)
Contains herbal medicines of:
Cordyceps –  offers properties of immune enhancement and stress resistance. It protects mitochondria and is anti-fatigue. In laboratory studies, cordyceps was found to reduce heart muscle oxygen consumption and improve aerobic activity. In traditional herbal medicine, it is often used as a kidney tonic. Cordyceps specifically stimulates NK cells and macrophage activity and also enhances cellular immunity.  At the same time, it decreases inflammatory cytokine cascades and therefore decreases tissue damage.    Use also for Epstein Barr Virus infections.
Cryptolepsis  – (e.coli, microbial for Nocardia bacterial infection, systemic infection, renal vasodilator),
Andrographis – (pyelonephritis).
Nettles (Stinging Nettles)- used for anemia, poor circulation, an enlarged spleen, diabetes and other endocrine disorders, stomach acid, diarrhea and dysentery, asthma, lung congestion, rash and eczema, cancer, preventing the signs of aging, “blood purification,” wound healing, and as a general tonic.
Juniper –  Pulmonary Granulomas is an antimicrobial and antifungal property. Researchers at the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences said that juniper berry can combat the bacteria E. coli, pneumonia, and gonorrhea, but also Staphylococcus aureus and cystitis. Cryptococcus neoforms, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Coronavirus, Aspergillus.
Agrimony – pain in the region of the kidneys, urinary deposits, with relief from kidney or gallstones
Rehmannia –  health benefits include strengthening the kidneys, strengthening the adrenal glands, and tonifying the blood. In Traditional Chinese Theory, kidney failure and kidney meridian dysfunction are a direct result of an imbalance of yin and yang. Rehmannia helps balance the yin, and yang with its cooling herbs that nourish and tonify the kidney and it’s yin (fluids), bringing the kidney back to its best functioning condition.
Goldenseal – Goldenseal has been shown in the research to be both antibiotic and antiviral. It is possible that berberine (a major component of goldenseal) also kills a wide range of other types of germs in test tubes, such as those that cause candida (yeast) infections and parasites such as tapeworms and Giardia. Berberine may also activate white blood cells, making them better at fighting infection and strengthening the immune system.
Uva Ursi –  contains a compound called arbutin, a glycosylated hydroquinone, which has the ability to drain excess water from cells, promoting an antiseptic effect on the kidneys. During its excretion, arbutin produces an antiseptic effect on the urinary mucous membrane and can therefore help assist with the urinary tract infections.  Despite the presence of several acids in its makeup, uva ursi helps to keep the pH balance of urine from being too acidic. It actually strengthens the lining of the urinary tract and helps to ease any inflammation in the system. It has a direct sedative effect on the bladder walls. For chronic inflammation of the bladder or kidneys, uva ursi has no equal. Two studies report that urine from individuals given uva ursi is active against the most commonly involved microorganisms in bladder and urinary tract ailments.
Buchu – is quite helpful in increasing the flow of water through the kidneys which helps to detox these important organs. Similarly its anti-inflammatory effects also aid the flow of water whilst the antiseptic qualities of Buchu help to disinfect the kidneys to prevent infection. These benefits are passed onto the bladder and the urinary tract for complete urinary health.
The herbal medicines will help with elimination waste to reduce the build-up of wastes in the blood, toxicities, helps reverses glomerulonephritis, helps restore renal function.

Protein in Urine (Proteinuria)  and  Low Serum Albumin.

When excessive levels of protein in urine are detected for prolonged periods. Proteinuria is increased levels of protein in the urine. This condition can be a sign of kidney damage.

What causes proteinuria?
In many cases, proteinuria is caused by relatively benign (non-cancerous) or temporary medical conditions.
These include dehydration, inflammation and low blood pressure.Intense exercise or activity, emotional stress, and exposure to cold can also trigger proteinuria.

When excessive levels of protein in urine are detected for prolonged periods.Excessive protein excretion in the urine is a significant risk factor for both renal disease and for cardiovascular conditions. The passage of more than minimal amounts of protein in the urine. This usually indicates kidney disease, such as GLOMERULONEPHRITIS or the NEPHROTIC SYNDROME, but may also occur in MYELOMATOSIS or other conditions in which the amount of protein in the blood is excessive.

Astragalus herb can significantly decrease 24 hour proteinuria and systolic blood pressure.
This herbs has shown promising effects in reducing proteinuria and increasing haemoglobin and serum albumin.
Can use in conjunction with drugs, if needed. Use for all species and ages.

Supporting kidney health Proteinuria is a condition marked by abnormally high amounts of protein in the urine – a sign of dysfunctional kidneys. Astragalus herb supports kidney function by improving blood flow and regulating protein levels in the urine. A 2014 study highlights the ability of astragalus to reduce proteinuria in individuals with kidney disease.

Reduces protein loss in urine

Loss of protein in urine is a common symptom of kidney disease but that’s not all, it also accelerates the progression of kidney disease. Clinical trials have consistently shown that whenever proteinuria is decreased by treatments, progression to end-stage kidney disease is reduced. Multiple studies have shown that astragalus can reduce proteinuria in both animal models and humans.

Improved albumin levels

Albumin is a blood protein that makes up a significant portion of the blood plasma. As the main protein in blood, albumin plays a role in many functions including maintaining pressure in the blood vessels and transporting substances such as vitamins,  hormones and medications. People with CKD commonly have low albumin levels because of the loss of protein (albumin) in urine. Low albumin levels can result in swelling of the feet or hands, fatigue, loss of appetite and dry/itchy skin. Astragalus has been shown to increase albumin levels in the blood so may help with reducing the symptoms caused by low albumin.

Hypoalbuminemia (Low Albumin)

What is Low Blood Albumin?
Low blood albumin, or hypoalbuminemia, is not itself a disease but is a symptom of an underlying disease or other causative factor.
Since the liver is responsible for manufacturing albumin and maintaining optimum levels in the blood, liver disease is often suspected.
However, low blood albumin can also be the result of malfunctioning kidneys, digestive problems such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), pancreatitis, malnutrition, or extensive damage to the skin from burns, infection or mites.
Because diagnosing the underlying cause is critical to proper treatment, a trip to the veterinarian is in order.   Albumin is a blood protein that is manufactured in the liver. The main functions of albumin are circulating necessary molecules throughout the bloodstream in support of metabolic processes and binding with water to stabilize blood pressure by preventing leakage from blood vessels. Low levels of albumin in the blood can be caused by inadequate production of albumin in the liver or by loss of albumin through the kidneys, digestive tract, leaking blood vessels, or seeping skin. While fluid leaking from the skin is easy to identify as a problem, other less obvious signs of low blood albumin range from swelling of the chest or abdomen, puffiness in the legs, lethargy, lack of appetite or vomiting.

Symptoms of Low Blood Albumin in Cats
Since low blood albumin is essentially a side effect of some other underlying malady, symptoms of the condition will vary depending on the cause.

Cats with low blood albumin may exhibit:
Swelling of the abdomen
Distended chest cavity
Edema in the limbs, which is swelling from leaking fluid rather than from injury or trauma
Panting, or shortness of breath
Lethargy
Poor appetite
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Fluid seeping from the skin due to injury, infection or infestation

Causes of Low Blood Albumin in Cats
Hypoalbuminemia is caused by a disruption of albumin production in the liver, or through a depletion of the protein via blood loss or blood disease.

The most common causes include:
Liver disease
Cholangiohepatitis, which is a malfunction of the liver that also includes the pancreas and/or gallbladder
Chronic pancreatitis
Inflammatory bowel disease
Kidney disease
Intestinal parasites
Malnutrition or diet too low in protein
Pyoderma, or skin infection
Skin parasites such as demodectic or sarcoptic mange
Widespread burns to the skin

General Dosing and Instructions
Guide

For all species, size, and ages.

HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES

(a) “HOMEOPATHICS”are sold in either a clear liquid or tiny white pills or granules – both have no odour or taste)

Easy “application dosing” for all species:

  • Homeopathic DROPS (clear liquid) DRIP or APPLY 3 to 4 drops, pat into fur/skin with bottom of bottle. i.e. back of shoulder blades (not orally) which is regarded as one dose for all size species and ages. Note: Liquid homeopathics are more suited for feline, toy dog, fish, birds and other small species
  • Homeopathic PILLS (white pills) crush a pill (or whole) and add to gum/pouch of mouth to dissolve in saliva. Does not need to swallow it.
  • Homeopathic GRANULES (white grain) and a small light sprinkle or a pinch to meals, or stir into water trough or bowl.
Casual repeat dosing can add to water bowl or feed dish or water trough for wildlife or farm animals.

Refer to Bottle Label for suggested frequencies repeat dosing needed per day.
NOTE:
the rule is one must “repeat a dose” more frequently with less time in between each application dose, which is more important than the amount given each time. Repeat application will provide

faster action.

HERBAL MEDICINES

(b) “HERBAL MEDICINES ” (brown liquid – strong odour & tasting)
”Application dosing” for all species and sizes:
Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat : add herbal drops (as recommended on bottle label) to some (unsweetened apple sauce or apple juice) for canines and oral syringe side of mouth. Can add other vitamins (crushed) Alkaline green powders etc. to mix.

Refer to Bottle Label for amount of drops per species size. e.g 60 drops = 1 teaspoon

What I do for example: If I was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to a small bowl add some boiled water (about a teaspoon) to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)

NUTRITION

(c)“NUTRITIONAL Mix
”
Giving vitamins and supplements (tablets or powders) Note: always crush tablet before adding to food or liquid mix.
Felines or small animals: make up 1 cup of mixture, adding approx. a pinch of some type of Green powder (alkaline powder) or Chlorella powder (cleansing of toxins) or 1/4 Teaspoons of Slippery elm powder (to mask the taste) with 1 teaspoon of herbs if you are having to also give herbal medicines (i.e. brown liquid)
Med to large animals: add twice to three times the amount.

DOSING: Feline or small animal: using an oral syringe draw up 1ml and gently small sips. Or add a teaspoon to meals if they don’t mind eating it with meals (mix well into food) Do not put in Fridge. Room temp is best as too cold is dislike by felines.
DOSING: Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat: try mixing well into food and hand piece before feeding main meals. Or dose same as suggested for felines, but add three times as much herbal medicines and vitamins to 1/2 cup of water or (unsweetened) apple sauce or apple juice.

What I do for example: If i was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to 1/2 cup of boiled hot water to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …. smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)

Slippery Elm Powder

If needing to add or use Slippery Elm powder

FOR CONDITIONS like …. diarrhea, stomach ulcers, or sore inflamed mouth or mouth ulcers, constipation, or IBS (i.e. colitis), plus it can also been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids.

CONVALESCING ..can been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids or not eating very well.
~ Add a small amount of powder to the mix to enough to make a runny liquid mix, if you put too much of the powder it will become thick and gluggy, if this happens you will need to add more liquid to it. Can add crushed vitamins and herbal medicines to this as well. OPTIONS: Oral dose in syringe or add to meals three times a day or more to maintain normal health again, then can stop or reduce frequencies.
