Your dog may get diagnosed with something else when really it is Lyme infection.
As Lyme infection has been called a great imitator as it can mimic a variety of illnesses. It is the “spirochete” that can cause Lyme symptoms. The severity of the symptoms of Lyme disease can vary from patient to patient. If Infection is untreated (becomes chronic) it can enter the blood stream affecting the joints, brain, eyes, and or heart. We find this happens when misdiagnosed.
What to do (humans and pets)?
1. Homeopathic Lyme Nosodes and Co infections formula, Herbal Microbial and Lyme Detox formula are great to include in your healing regime.
Can use in conjunction with the Probiotic and Wild Oregano Oil (see below)
2 The majority of “inflammatory diseases” start in your gut.
Therefore we do need to take a “Probiotic “supplement.
It takes approx. 2 months to restore gut flora fully.
However, with Lyme infection, as we keep getting reinfected, we would benefit in continuing a good strong probiotic daily.
Even if you or your pet have not had antibiotic drugs recently, with Lyme infection we need to continue to repair gut flora and build up a protective force system against re infections.
* Download pdf HELP SHEET for further help and suggestions.
3. Wild Oregano Oil Capsules
Canine – maybe use the Wild Oregano Oil in Liquid
~ start off with 1 drop in some strong flavor liquid e.g gravy sauce. Repeat daily oral syringe or add to bowl. If no Herx reaction after 4 days then go up to 2 drops continue for 4 days, then do 4 drops for 4 days, of fine still, then continue going up until you reach 12 drops a day and stay on that.
Humans – I have had Lyme and co infections for 10 years, and since taking the Wild Oregano capsules, the difference was almost immediate, within 2 days. .. More energy, feeling a more sense of overall wellness.!! this is the capsules I will continue to take daily, which will also protect me from coming down with flu, colds or stomach bugs… Its the best!
I stared with 1 daily then following week, 2 daily a week, now 4 daily, twice a day. I take the capsules, it must be Wild oregano oil not just Oregano oil, with high amount of carvacrol in the capsules).
To specify the active ingredients of oregano oil, the researchers further tested the three major components and discovered carvacrol (at either 0.1% or 0.05% concentration) was the most active ingredient in oregano oil.
In fact, carvacrol was highly effective against all phases of Bb, including the active spirochetal phase, the stationary (non-growing) phase and the biofilm-like structures. Importantly, oregano and carvacrol appear to be more active than daptomycin and seem to dissolve the most difficult to kill biofilm structures.
USA people Lyme disease vaccine can cause neurological damage and aggression misdiagnosed as rage syndrome.
Dogs can become aggressive for no apparent reason – and out of character.
Sudden, serious aggression in a previously well-mannered dog can be a reaction to Lyme vaccine.
When it happens to dogs vaccinated in a diligent rescue facility, it is especially tragic.
Dr. Jordan’s rescue case history and the dog bite statistics below are connected. Remember this information when a friend confides in you that their dog has become aggressive. If it is Lyme vaccine-related, it is tragic but having to destroy a beloved pet due to lack of knowledge and foresight is an even worse tragedy.
Inexplicable aggression called Rage Syndrome in Springer Spaniels was attributed to an inherited flaw introduced by an outstanding English import back in the 80s. Today we would say that dog’s “rage syndrome” was caused by having received a full battery of vaccinations, from rabies vaccine to Lyme Disease vaccine, just prior to export. As 2013 draws to a close, we can state that “rage syndrome” affects all breeds, from Golden Retrievers to Yorkies!
That knowledge raises significant questions.
Why is uncharacteristic and sudden aggression more common in purebred dogs?
Answer: They are more likely to receive a full barrage of vaccines, including Lyme vaccine.
Do mutts and mongrels suffer from sudden unprecedented aggression?
Answer: Yes, but they are more often euthanized or dumped at the shelter than are purebred dogs.
When this was first compiled in early 2011, we were only beginning to learn about excitotoxins in dog foods as causing behavioral anomalies but we had long been aware of sudden aggression as a reaction to certain vaccines known to affect the neurological system. We do not excuse aggressiveness but it is our duty at TheDogPlace to present emerging information about Lyme Disease vaccines. If knowledge can save one dog from being PTS (killed) when in fact, it needs veterinary treatment, we will have done our job.
Lyme Vaccine Background
Some thirty years ago a certain pharmaceutical company charged that a competitor had released a vaccine for Lyme Disease before it had ever been diagnosed in the canine. At that time, Lyme Disease was extremely rare. The tick-borne illness was first diagnosed in humans in 1975 and not until about 1984 in the dog.
We refer you to the reference links below for information on the origin of Lyme Disease and the possible connection to the Plum Island research facility near Lyme, Ct.
Dog owners, frightened by pharmaceutical hype, rushed to vaccinate their pets against Lyme Disease. Dog bite statistics are unreliable so we can’t correlate the vaccine epidemic to increased aggression or bite statistics but Lyme vaccine today is a non-essential, “non-core vaccine”.
AMVA released the now-famous list of core and non-core vaccines in 2006 when the veterinary associations, red-faced and forced to admit unnecessarily, risky vaccines had been widely recommended, finally relented to public exposure.
A large part of that exposure and pressure was due to Project 2000: Vaccines launched by this site and referenced by dozens of veterinary, medical, and other professional sites.
Lyme Disease & Lyme Vaccine Aggression
There appears to be a direct association between Lyme vaccine aggression and the unprecedented rise in school shootings and Dog Bite Statistics (1955 to present) as evidenced in TheDogPress.com
Dr. Jordan reports ... “The neurological manifestations of Lyme disease or with Lyme Vaccine Disease have a wide range of symptoms; mood disturbance, confusion, depression, anxiety, and adjustment syndrome as the spirochete is known to penetrate the pituitary gland.

2. HAMPL Lyme Microbial 196-2 50ml liquid
Contains herbal liquid extract:
Medical Herbal Uses
Cat’s Claw – also helps the body create more T cells. T cells attack cancer cells and also AIDS viruses found in the bloodstream. The POAs in Cat’s Claw work by supporting the white blood cells (WBC). These are the cells that help with immunity. One of the functions of the WBC is to gobble up and eliminate bacteria and viruses. POA does this by increasing the production of interleukin by the WBC. POAs also help a type of cell called B cells. B cells create antibodies against one type of virus or bacteria. This herb also can reduce EBV and cofactors such as strep A and strep B.
Tumeric – helps strengthen the endocrine system and central nervous system. It also shares similar liver protectant compounds that milk thistle and artichoke leaves contain. Turmeric decreases congestion and inflammation from stagnant mucous membranes. Turmeric is anti-inflammatory to the mucous membranes, which coat the throat, lungs, stomach, and intestines. It is a potent detoxifier.
Japanese Knotweed – is an excellent source of resveratrol. Has a mild blood thinning. Resveratrol has been identified as a potent bioflavonoids (flavonoids) high concentrations in the root of Japanese Knotweed. Flavonoids are important antioxidants, and promote several health effects. It is considered to have a number of beneficial effects, including anti viral, anti-ulcers (slightly reduces stomach acid) anti-aethrogenic, anti-oxidative, and estrogenic activity. E.g treats Bartonella or Mycoplasma infection. Other beneficial effects: Anti-viral, Anti-cancer, Anti-inflammatory, Anti-allergic, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, Immunomodulant, CNS relaxant (central nervous system)
The plant contains compounds that are part of a group of organic chemicals called stilbenes, which are polyphenolic compounds attached by an ethylene. The specifically protects the brain from inflammatory damage, microbial endotoxins, and bacterial infections.
Teasel Root – most known for its use in treating Lyme Disease. It is also used as a stomach aid, an analgesic for pain relief, an anti-inflamatory, and a stimulant for the nervous system. Also effective for chronic inflammation of the muscles, one of the major symptoms caused by the bacteria infection of Lyme Disease and widely used in conjunction with antibiotics as well as other phytoceuticals to treat Lyme Disease for its ability to pull the bacteria from muscle tissue (where antibiotics and the immune system cannot reach) into the blood stream so that the immune system can do its work.
Corydalis – is my own favorite “go-to” herb for both cats and dogs with pain, especially when Devil’s Claw is ruled out by either GI distress or cardiac medications. Dr. Wynn says she has found that you can use a higher dose than the general parameters indicate if needed, but at higher doses “sedation may occur”. How much to use is, as with the other herbs on this list, suggested by the severity of the pain.
Solomon’s Seal – is hand’s down, the most underutilized herb for canine and feline arthritis – I wish it were better known. If I had to pick one herb to promote, this would definitely be it. Michigan herbalist Jim McDonald writes … “ I don’t think there’s a single other plants I use that so reliably produces such story-worthy results, and as there is far too little information clearly elaborating on Solomon’s Seal’s remarkable virtues…”
Wild lettuce – also Known as Opium Lettuce. For a good reason. While it doesn’t contain any opiates, it has similar side effects when used – it acts directly on the central nervous system (CNS) to lessen the feeling of pain, just like morphine.
Boswellia – possesses anti-inflammatory properties that are equal to prescription medications without the unpleasant/dangerous side effects. Boswellia works through entirely different mechanisms than anti-inflammatory drugs. Whereas most drugs function as Cox enzyme inhibitors, Boswellia works by inhibiting lipoxygenase enzymes (LOX), which are powerful contributors to inflammation and disease. By inhibiting LOX enzymes, Boswellia effectively blocks leukotriene synthesis. Leukotrienes play a major role in promoting a whole host of age-associated, inflammation-related diseases including joint problems, intestinal disorders, cancer, and lung-related disease. In addition, it appears that Boswellia can inhibit the breakdown of connective tissues caused by tumor necrosis factor-alpha, a potent inflammatory agent in the body. And finally, it appears that Boswellia has the ability to modulate the immune system and inhibit inflammatory activity, thereby helping with a number of autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis.
Guaicum – Resin has quite a number of beneficial actions due to its chemical value – contains resin acids, guaiaretic and hydroguaiaretic acids, and lignans. Other components include terpenoids (guaiacsaponin), and vanilin. Anti-rheumatic, laxative, diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory and diuretic actions of the plant are associated with its rich chemical content. Guaiacum resin has an advantage over other resins by being not as irritating for the stomach and bowel. Being easy to absorb, it provides fast relief for the symptoms it is taken for. It has been mostly used in herbal medicine for rheumatic conditions and related symptoms. Patients with inflammation and painful joints have been reporting the healing effects of guaiacum.

General Dosing and Instructions Guide
For all species, size, and ages.
(a) “HOMEOPATHICS”are sold in either a clear liquid or tiny white pills or granules – both have no odour or taste)
Easy “application dosing” for all species:
- Homeopathic DROPS (clear liquid) DRIP or APPLY 3 to 4 drops, pat into fur/skin with bottom of bottle. i.e. back of shoulder blades (not orally) which is regarded as one dose for all size species and ages. Note: Liquid homeopathics are more suited for feline, toy dog, fish, birds and other small species
- Homeopathic PILLS (white pills) crush a pill (or whole) and add to gum/pouch of mouth to dissolve in saliva. Does not need to swallow it.
- Homeopathic GRANULES (white grain) and a small light sprinkle or a pinch to meals, or stir into water trough or bowl.
Casual repeat dosing can add to water bowl or feed dish or water trough for wildlife or farm animals.
Refer to Bottle Label for suggested frequencies repeat dosing needed per day.
the rule is one must “repeat a dose” more frequently with less time in between each application dose, which is more important than the amount given each time. Repeat application will provide
(b) “HERBAL MEDICINES ” (brown liquid – strong odour & tasting)
”Application dosing” for all species and sizes:
Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat : add herbal drops (as recommended on bottle label) to some (unsweetened apple sauce or apple juice) for canines and oral syringe side of mouth. Can add other vitamins (crushed) Alkaline green powders etc. to mix.
Refer to Bottle Label for amount of drops per species size. e.g 60 drops = 1 teaspoon
What I do for example: If I was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to a small bowl add some boiled water (about a teaspoon) to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)
Giving vitamins and supplements (tablets or powders) Note: always crush tablet before adding to food or liquid mix.
Felines or small animals: make up 1 cup of mixture, adding approx. a pinch of some type of Green powder (alkaline powder) or Chlorella powder (cleansing of toxins) or 1/4 Teaspoons of Slippery elm powder (to mask the taste) with 1 teaspoon of herbs if you are having to also give herbal medicines (i.e. brown liquid)
Med to large animals: add twice to three times the amount.
DOSING: Feline or small animal: using an oral syringe draw up 1ml and gently small sips. Or add a teaspoon to meals if they don’t mind eating it with meals (mix well into food) Do not put in Fridge. Room temp is best as too cold is dislike by felines.
DOSING: Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat: try mixing well into food and hand piece before feeding main meals. Or dose same as suggested for felines, but add three times as much herbal medicines and vitamins to 1/2 cup of water or (unsweetened) apple sauce or apple juice.
What I do for example: If i was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to 1/2 cup of boiled hot water to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …. smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)
Slippery Elm Powder
If needing to add or use Slippery Elm powder
FOR CONDITIONS like …. diarrhea, stomach ulcers, or sore inflamed mouth or mouth ulcers, constipation, or IBS (i.e. colitis), plus it can also been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids.
CONVALESCING ..can been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids or not eating very well.
~ Add a small amount of powder to the mix to enough to make a runny liquid mix, if you put too much of the powder it will become thick and gluggy, if this happens you will need to add more liquid to it. Can add crushed vitamins and herbal medicines to this as well. OPTIONS: Oral dose in syringe or add to meals three times a day or more to maintain normal health again, then can stop or reduce frequencies.
