Antibiotics do not work on viruses because viruses are not alive, they are also not contagious. A bacterium is a living, reproducing life form.
With a virus there is nothing to “kill,” so antibiotics don’t work on it.

The “Canine coronavirus (CCoV) is not the same virus as SARS-CoV-2 that causes the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Types of Long-term Lung Conditions

  • Asthma is a condition where the person’s airways are inflamed, causing them to swell or narrow. Many things can trigger it, and you may find it hard to breathe.
  • COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a group of lung diseases containing chronic bronchitis and emphysema. The damages caused by them can’t be reversed.
  • Chronic bronchitis means that the bronchial tubes are irritated and inflamed. The tubes are your airways and carry air to the lungs from the air sacs. Mucus builds up, and you can’t breathe.
  • Emphysema means the walls between the air sacs get damaged, so they lose their shape. Sometimes, the air sac walls are destroyed. You may wheeze or be unable to breathe.
  • Asbestosis is caused when you inhale asbestos fibers. Extensive exposure to such fibers causes scarring of the lung tissue, which leads to shortness of breath.
  • Pulmonary fibrosis causes the lung tissue to get scarred with time. This means it is stiff and thick, making it hard to breathe. Plus, the blood might not get enough oxygen.
  • Pneumonitis means inflammation of the lung tissues. Pneumonia is one type, but Pneumonitis usually refers to noninfectious lung inflammation.

This unique and effective formula is assisting all conditions of acute or chronic … pneumonia, mycoplasma infection, pleurisy symptoms, tuberculinum conditions, loss of appetite, clears the lungs from congestion; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); respiratory discomfort; soreness in chest; emphysema; bronchitis; pneumonia; asthma; coughs.

If it came on very quickly it could see the Feline Virus Calici (FCV), Rhinotracheitis, Feline Herpes (FHV)

There are (3) three types of pneumonia often seen in dogs, however less often in cats (more in kittens).

The fourth (4) one “Parasitic pneumonia” is less common.

1.   Aspiration pneumonia (e.g. infants milk inhalant)
2.   Bacterial pneumonia  (e.g.  P. aeruginosa or Mycoplasma pneumoniae bacterial infection)
3.   Fungal pneumonia    ( e.g  Mycotic infection)
4.   Parasitic pneumonia  (roundworm in lungs)
5.   Interstitial pneumonia (lungs damage) and Fibrosis  * Interstitial Pneumonia and/or  pulmonary fibrosis
6.   Viral pneumonia    (is an infection of your lungs caused by a virus. The most common cause is the flu, but you can also get viral pneumonia from the common cold and other viruses)

The most common of which is a bacterial or viral condition mostly likely caused by feline calicivirus

1.  Interstitial lung disease
 (ILDInterstitial  pneumonia

Bacteria, viruses, or fungi can infect the interstitium.
A bacteria called Mycoplasma pneumoniae is the most common cause.
Use this natural formulas for AN112 Pneumonia Set, plus in conjunction the AN058 Keloid 50ml drops –
a scarring tissue dissolving remedy.

2.    Aspiration pneumonia

also called inhalation pneumonia, means the lungs have become inflamed and infected as the result of breathing in a foreign substance like vomit, regurgitated gastric acid, or food. The condition is more often seen in dogs than cats, and in particular, newborn puppies. There are a number of other causes of aspiration pneumonia, including certain diseases, chronic vomiting or regurgitation, during induction of anesthesia, inhaling a caustic chemical, and even during the administration of liquid drug medicine to a pet.  Symptoms of aspiration pneumonia include difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, coughing, rapid breathing, an increased heart rate, loss of appetite and lethargy. Aspiration pneumonia is a life-threatening condition.
Causing “fading syndrome” in infant animals and puppies and kittens.     Must act straight away and express shipping.

3.   Bacterial pneumonia

is seen most frequently in immune compromised individuals.
e.g. Pneumonic kittens – causing “fading syndrome”

It is caused by a pathogen, and there are several organisms that can result in infection.
Symptoms include
a cough,
breathing difficulties,
loss of appetite,
weight loss and lethargy,
bacterial bronchopneumonia usually presents with a cough,
nasal discharge,
fever, and depression
Auscultation may reveal increased lung sounds, crackles, wheezes, and silent areas- bacterial infection. A less common Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterial infection is also treatable with herbal medicines.   Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection is a type of bacteria found in plants, humans, and animals.  It is a multidrug-resistant pathogen.  Also, known as the MDR pathogen.

~  Various sepsis syndromes,ventilator-associated pneumonia, and other infections.

* Infection in Skin (deep pyoderma)                  or
* Infection in Lungs (pneumonia)                       or
* Infection in Ear (middle ear Otitis externa)     or
* Infection in Eye
(ulcerative keratitis)

Although a number of bacteria have been isolated from the airways in healthy cats, P. Aeruginosa is an uncommon cause of respiratory tract infection. In experimental cat models, repeated P. Aeruginosa infection causes chronic bronchiolitis and pneumonia, with similar histological features to chronic P.Aeruginosa.

Cat Symptoms include
wheezing when he breathes,
coughing and
spewing mucus from his nose.
He is otherwise bright and active with a good appetite and very playful.
Dogs and cats with P.aeruginosa can also cause otitis externa, cystitis, pneumonia and ulcerative keratitis in dogs and cats.  t can also cause deep pyoderma in all species.

3.   Fungal pneumonia
is the result of a deep fungal lung infection, sometimes called a Mycotic infection.
Symptoms include complete loss of appetite, weight loss, fever, coughing, difficulty breathing, eye problems. Unfortunately, many pets are unresponsive to fungal pneumonia when given conventional drug medication. Herbal antifungal drops and nosodes are best used for these types of conditions. Unfortunately, it would be hard to diagnose if it is a fungal or bacterial infection. However, no harm is done if you combine the natural medicines to be safe.   The herb Artemisinin (Sweet Annie) to prevent an often fatal type of lung infection called pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) that is caused by a fungus.
Refer to:  Systemic Fungal herbs – AN311-4 Systemic Fungal 311-4 Mix

4.   Parasitic pneumonia
Lungworm (Aelurostrongylus abstrusus or A. abstrusus – roundworm) is probably the most common lungworm of cats, although C. aerophilia infection may also occur. The infection of this roundworm is gained by eating infected slugs or snails (the intermediate host), or infected rodents, lizards or birds (the transport hosts).
They are small parasites (males 7 mm, females 10 mm), deeply embedded in the lung tissues.
Lung Nematodes worms (Roundworms or Threadworms), but heavy infestations may produce the following symptoms:
Dry coughing,
Dyspnea (shortness of breath),
especially upon exertion,
Lethargy and exercise intolerance,
Symptoms are typically noticed in younger cats.

* If any of these symptoms look familiar we suggest to also use in conjunction with HAMPL ParaExpel 49 formula 50ml.  Affected cats may present with a chronic cough, with associated crackles and wheezes.
Refer to:  HAMPL ParaExpel 49 drops (homeopathic parasitic formula)
Perhaps the most important consideration of the lungworm (A.abstrusus) infection is its differentiation from chronic bronchopulmonary disease, particularly feline asthma.

PLEASE NOTE:    Sometimes symptoms are a combination of fever infection, chest infection with coughing – this could also be Asthma. See HAMPL Asthma Lung 91 formulas.

5.    Interstitial Pneumonia

What is Pneumonia (Interstitial)?
Interstitial pneumonia is a serious lung disease similar to the pulmonary fibrosis that people get, and older West Highland White Terriers are the most often infected. In this condition, the lung tissue is replaced by scar tissue leaving the lungs with reduced ability to breathe properly. The cause of interstitial pneumonia is not known, but some experts believe that it is preceded by an injury to the lungs that did not heal properly.  The scarring of the lungs from previous injury or illness makes the lungs less pliable and unable to function properly. Just like a scar that you get on your skin, the scar tissue is not as soft and flexible.

Since pulmonary fibrosis is hereditary in people, some veterinary professionals think the same may be true for dogs.

Unfortunately, this disease is almost always fatal within less than two years because there is no medication to do anything but treat the symptoms. Interstitial pneumonia includes a group of pulmonary diseases that include the alveolar septa (the wall separating the oxygen sacs in the lung). One of the most common varieties of this disease is idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, which is an incurable lung disease that affects the terrier more than any other breed, especially middle-aged West Highland White Terrier, but any breed of dog can present symptoms of interstitial pneumonia.

Symptoms of Pneumonia (Interstitial) in Dogs
The symptoms of interstitial pneumonia depend on how far the disease has progressed. In the beginning of the illness, your dog may show no signs except for being tired and maybe depressed for several months before the infection really takes hold and spreads to the rest of the lungs. This disease commonly affects older dogs, so the symptoms may be ignored because they are thinking it is just old age. However, if your dog starts acting different in any way at any age, you should consult your veterinarian just to be sure because the sooner you start natural solution, the better the chances of success.

  • Fever
  • Fast breathing
  • Wheezing
  • Coughing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Weight loss
  • Depression
Blue tint to skin and mucous membranes (mouth, eyelids, stomach)
  • Inability to exercise for the regular amount of time
  • Coughing up blood
  • Runny nose and eyes

Lung Fibrosis  (pulmonary fibrosis)

Pulmonary fibrosis is one form of pneumonia that can affect dogs. The development of this disease results in inflammation and scarring of the tiny air sacs of the lungs and lung tissue. … Therefore, as the disease progresses, less oxygen than normal is passed into the body’s tissues when the dog breathes.

Signs and symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis may include:

  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea)
  • A dry cough
  • Fatigue
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Aching muscles and joints* For Intestinal Pneumonia   and/or   pulmonary fibrosis
Use this natural formulas for AN112 Pneumonia Set, plus in conjunction the AN058 Keloid – a scarring tissue dissolving remedy.

Many types of drugs can damage the lungs, especially medications such as:

  • Chemotherapy drugs.
Drugs designed to kill cancer cells, such as methotrexate (Trexall, Otrexup, others) and cyclophosphamide, can also damage lung tissue.
  • Heart medications.
Some drugs used to treat irregular heartbeats, such as amiodarone (Cordarone, Nexterone, Pacerone), may harm lung tissue.
  • Some antibiotics.
Antibiotics such as nitrofurantoin (Macrobid, Macrodantin, others) or ethambutol can cause lung damage.
  • Anti-inflammatory drugs.
Certain anti-inflammatory drugs such as rituximab (Rituxan) or sulfasalazine (Azulfidine) can cause lung damage.

NATURAL SUPPORT REMEDIES   In assisting the pet from further damages, the HAMPL Keloid 58 drops will help break down the scarring around the lungs.  Use this long term in conjunction with the Naturopathic –  Pneumonia Set formulas for assisting in support of health, and breathing.

6.   Viral Pneumonia     Verses     Bacterial pneumonia

“Viral Pneumonia” is where air sacs (alveoli) in the lungs fill with fluid and it becomes difficult to breathe.Viral infections are not contagious nor are they a live infection.  Immune compromised people, and elderly people who have flu injections (tend to be so toxic from old age chemical intake) this infection can be fatal.

“Bacterial pneumonia”   is alive infection, there anitbiotics can kill it, as well alternative antiboitics.
The most common symptoms of “bacterial pneumonia“ are:

  • cough with thick yellow, green, or blood-tinged mucus.
  • stabbing chest pain that worsens when coughing or breathing.
  • sudden onset of chills severe enough to make you shake.
  • fever of 102-105°F or above (fever lower than 102°F in older persons)

Hypoxia is a state of insufficient oxygen supply for normal life functions, and hypoxemia is a state of low arterial oxygen supply.Hypoxia is a condition or state in which the supply of oxygen is insufficient for normal life functions; hypoxemia is a condition or state where there is a low arterial oxygen supply — in some publications these terms are used interchangeably.

There are a variety of causes and potential causes of any type of hypoxia.
Symptoms of hypoxia and/or hypoxemia may be acute or chronic and vary in intensity from mild to severe.

Common acute symptoms are:

    • shortness of breath,
    • rapid breathing, and
    • a fast heart rate.
  • Severe symptoms include:
    • The inability to communicate
    • Confusion
    • Possible coma or death
    • Other associated symptoms also may be present.

In general, hypoxia and/or hypoxemia is diagnosed by physical examination and by using oxygen monitors (pulse oximeters), determining, oxygen level in a blood gas sample and may include pulmonary function tests.Natural solution for hypoxia and/or hypoxemia is to give additional oxygen to the patient and into the environment or the body (blood) as quickly as possible. Techniques vary widely according to the patient’s condition, but may include oxygen by face mask or nasal cannula, mechanical ventilation (intubation), hyperbaric chamber, or other devices or medicines to open airways.

* However, this is not available for pets, so I have formulated homeopathic remedies “Hypoxia” to assist in lack of oxygen.  e.g  Homeopathic Carbo Veg
Which humans can easily use as well.

Hypoxia and/or hypoxemia may be prevented in some individuals by avoiding circumstances that reduce oxygen concentration in the environments or by providing oxygen before symptoms develop.  People with asthma can prevent hypoxia / hypoxemia symptoms by taking certain medications on a regular basis as prescribed by their doctor.

Casual repeat dosing can add to water bowl or feed dish or water trough for wildlife or farm animals.

Refer to Bottle Label for suggested frequencies repeat dosing needed per day.
the rule is one must “repeat a dose” more frequently with less time in between each application dose, which is more important than the amount given each time. Repeat application will provide

faster action.

(b) “HERBAL MEDICINES ” (brown liquid – strong odour & tasting)
”Application dosing” for all species and sizes:
Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat : add herbal drops (as recommended on bottle label) to some (unsweetened apple sauce or apple juice) for canines and oral syringe side of mouth. Can add other vitamins (crushed) Alkaline green powders etc. to mix.

Refer to Bottle Label for amount of drops per species size. e.g 60 drops = 1 teaspoon

What I do for example: If I was needing to give herb natural solutions and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to a small bowl add some boiled water (about a teaspoon) to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)

Giving vitamins and supplements (tablets or powders) Note: always crush tablet before adding to food or liquid mix.
Felines or small animals: make up 1 cup of mixture, adding approx. a pinch of some type of Green powder (alkaline powder) or Chlorella powder (cleansing of toxins) or 1/4 Teaspoons of Slippery elm powder (to mask the taste) with 1 teaspoon of herbs if you are having to also give herbal medicines (i.e. brown liquid)
Med to large animals: add twice to three times the amount.

DOSING: Feline or small animal: using an oral syringe draw up 1ml and gently small sips. Or add a teaspoon to meals if they don’t mind eating it with meals (mix well into food) Do not put in Fridge. Room temp is best as too cold is dislike by felines.
DOSING: Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat: try mixing well into food and hand piece before feeding main meals. Or dose same as suggested for felines, but add three times as much herbal medicines and vitamins to 1/2 cup of water or (unsweetened) apple sauce or apple juice.

What I do for example: If i was needing to give herb natural solutions and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to 1/2 cup of boiled hot water to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …. smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)

Slippery Elm Powder
If needing to add or use Slippery Elm powder

FOR CONDITIONS like …. diarrhea, stomach ulcers, or sore inflamed mouth or mouth ulcers, constipation, or IBS (i.e. colitis), plus it can also been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids.

CONVALESCING ..can been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids or not eating very well.
~ Add a small amount of powder to the mix to enough to make a runny liquid mix, if you put too much of the powder it will become thick and gluggy, if this happens you will need to add more liquid to it. Can add crushed vitamins and herbal medicines to this as well. OPTIONS: Oral dose in syringe or add to meals three times a day or more to maintain normal health again, then can stop or reduce frequencies.
