2018 ... My mother takes three dropper fulls in some juice once a day, she is 86, and has been or cortisone for a long time due to her inflammation of joints. Since starting the herbs, she no longer needs to take pain medication and can reduce the dosage of the cortisone. I did recommend for her to take twice or three times a day, but she forgets to repeat.
2017 ... My neighbor was in high pain medication for joint hip pain, whilst he was waiting for surgery in a few weeks time. He was delighted with the results and said it was much better than the drugs were.

1. (B) HAMPL Anti Inflammatory Pain Relief 264 50ml liquid
Contains herbal formula of Wild lettuce, Corydalis, Solomon’s Seal (Polygonatum biflorum), Tumeric, Boswellia, Guaiacum.
* Note: Equines because of their unique metabolism will only need a minute amount of drops e.g 10 drops twice a day for max support. Dosage instructions on the bottle.
Corydalis is my own favorite “go-to” herb for both cats and dogs with pain, especially when Devil’s Claw is ruled out by either GI distress or cardiac medications. Dr. Wynn says she has found that you can use a higher dose than the general parameters indicate if needed, but at higher doses “sedation may occur”. How much to use is, as with the other herbs on this list, suggested by the severity of the pain.
Solomon’s Seal (Polygonatum biflorum)
Solomon’s Seal is hand’s down, the most underutilized herb for canine and feline arthritis – I wish it were better known. If I had to pick one herb to promote, this would definitely be it. Michigan herbalist Jim McDonald writes ... “ I don’t think there’s a single other plants I use that so reliably produces such story-worthy results, and as there is far too little information clearly elaborating on Solomon’s Seal’s remarkable virtues…”
Tumeric Root (Curcumin)
shares similar liver protectant compounds that milk thistle and artichoke leaves contain. Turmeric decreases congestion and inflammation from stagnant mucous membranes. Turmeric is anti-inflammatory to the mucous membranes, which coat the throat, lungs, stomach, and intestines. It is a potent detoxifier. Turmeric’s active ingredient is an extracted compound called curcumin. Studies have shown that curcumin helps prevent several forms of cancer including breast, lung, stomach, liver, and colon because of its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Wild Lettuce is also Known as Opium Lettuce. For a good reason. While it doesn't contain any opiates, it has similar side effects when used - it acts directly on the central nervous system (CNS) to lessen the feeling of pain, just like morphine.
Over the last few years, Boswellia has attracted much attention in the world medical community because it possesses anti-inflammatory properties that are equal to prescription medications without the unpleasant/dangerous side effects. Boswellia works through entirely different mechanisms than anti-inflammatory drugs. Whereas most drugs function as Cox enzyme inhibitors, Boswellia works by inhibiting lipoxygenase enzymes (LOX), which are powerful contributors to inflammation and disease. By inhibiting LOX enzymes, Boswellia effectively blocks leukotriene synthesis. Leukotrienes play a major role in promoting a whole host of age-associated, inflammation-related diseases including joint problems, intestinal disorders, cancer, and lung-related disease. In addition, it appears that Boswellia can inhibit the breakdown of connective tissues caused by tumor necrosis factor-alpha, a potent inflammatory agent in the body. And finally, it appears that Boswellia has the ability to modulate the immune system and inhibit inflammatory activity, thereby helping with a number of autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis.
Resin has quite a number of beneficial actions due to its chemical value - it contains resin acids, guaiaretic and hydroguaiaretic acids, and lignans. Other components include terpenoids (guaiacsaponin), and vanilin. Anti-rheumatic, laxative, diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory and diuretic actions of the plant are associated with its rich chemical content. Guaiacum resin has an advantage over other resins by being not as irritating for the stomach and bowel. Being easy to absorb, it provides fast relief for the symptoms it is taken for. It has been mostly used in herbal medicine for rheumatic conditions and related symptoms. Patients with inflammation and painful joints have been reporting the healing effects of guaiacum. Its anti-inflammatory actions are both helpful in rheumatoid arthritis and chronic rheumatism, lessening recurrence of the attacks.
Guaiacum is also useful for:
For skin disorders, respiratory complaints, and syphilis.
Use it to treat cutaneous diseases, chronic rheumatism, syphilitic diseases and scrofula.
It is an aid for rheumatism, dysmenorrhea, and uterine affections.
Use it externally to provide relief from rheumatism.
Its oral use is useful for blood pressure, tonsillitis, gout, and arteriosclerosis
It promotes discharge of mucous and evacuation of bowels.
It stimulates circulation and purification of blood.
Flowers - used to cure bronchitis, asthma, colds, coughs, flu and excess buildup of mucus as well as congestion.
Massage to the painful joints and muscles with an extract obtained from wood chips by placing it in alcohol.
Apply the mixture externally made by boiling some wood chips to lower swelling, pain, and redness related to arthritis.
Mix the powder with water and gargle to assist tonsillitis.
The wood - is helpful for gastric ulcers and gastritis.
intake a tea made with wood of Guaiacum to lower blood pressure.
Guaiacum also assists in the elimination of uric acid.

(a) “HOMEOPATHICS” are sold in either a clear liquid or tiny white pills or granules – both have no odour or taste) Easy “application dosing” for all species:
Refer to Bottle Label for suggested frequencies repeat dosing needed per day.
NOTE: the rule is one must “repeat a dose” more frequently with less time in between each application dose, which is more important than the amount given each time. Repeat application will provide faster action.
(b) “HERBAL MEDICINES ” (brown liquid – strong odour & tasting) ”Application dosing” for all species: Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat : add herbal drops (as recommended on bottle label) to some (unsweetened apple sauce or apple juice) for canines and oral syringe side of mouth. Can add other vitamins (crushed) Alkaline green powders etc. to mix. Refer to: Bottle Label for amount of drops per species size. Feline, toy dog, rabbit, or other small animals: add 3 – 4 drops of the brown herbal formula add 1 teaspoon of hot water from kettle, let cool, add another teaspoon of cold water, then oral dose side of mouth – with small sips at a time until 1ml is taken.
What I do for example: If I was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to a small bowl add some boiled water (about a teaspoon) to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)
(c) “NUTRITIONAL Mix ” Giving vitamins and supplements (tablets or powders) NB. Always crush tablet before adding to food or liquid mix. Felines or small animals: make up 1/4 cup of mixture, adding approx. a pinch of some type of Green powder (alkaline powder) or Chlorella powder (cleansing of toxins) or Vital Greens (highly nutritional) with 10 drops of herbs if you are having to also give herbal medicines (i.e. brown liquid) (after a little hot water added to dissolve alcohol) Med to large animals: add twice to three times the amount.
DOSING: Feline or small animal: using an oral syringe draw up 1ml and gently small sips. Or add a teaspoon to meals if they don’t mind eating it with meals (mix well into food) Do not put in Fridge. Room temp is best as too cold is dislike by felines.
DOSING: Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat: try mixing well into food and hand piece before feeding main meals. Or dose same as suggested for felines, but add three times as much herbal medicines and vitamins to 1/2 cup of water or (unsweetened) apple sauce or apple juice.

Slippery Elm Powder If needing to add or use Slippery Elm powder
FOR CONDITIONS like …. diarrhea, stomach ulcers, or sore inflamed mouth or mouth ulcers, constipation, or IBS (i.e. colitis), plus it can also been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids.
CONVALESCING ..can been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids or not eating very well. ~ Add a small amount of powder to the mix to enough to make a runny liquid mix, if you put too much of the powder it will become thick and gluggy, if this happens you will need to add more liquid to it. Can add crushed vitamins and herbal medicines to this as well. OPTIONS: Oral dose in syringe or add to meals three times a day or more to maintain normal health again, then can stop or reduce frequencies.
