Help Sheet

  • Working well for trembling in legs after a walk is commonly seen with - older dogs who have trembling legs, rear leg weakness or general weakness.

Usually, when the back muscles are weak, their bladder is also affected. If this is the case also use in conjunction with the HAMPL Bladder Incontinence formula.

    Other damages
If your animal has had an injury or surgery damages causing ... Disc prolapse, Scarring or Spine degeneration, Hip dysplasia or Sciatica nerve pain(usually runs down the leg), then you may also need to use in conjunction with other specific natural medicines according to symptoms or diagnosis.  We have treatment remedies for all of these conditions. Even if Vet is unsure what is going on, you can still safely use any of the homeopathic formulas and see which ones work for the type of dysfunction in the body.

Use in conjunction with: NUTRITION SUPPLEMENTS
Did you know that vaccinations severely deplete an animal of vitamin C reason it is so important not to deplete vitamin C any further and why it is a good idea to starting adding this to daily meals along with the Magnesium liquid or powder.

    Example:

    • Vitamin C is an anti-inflammatory that helps reduce and prevent inflammation and swelling.
    • Magnesium deficiency classical physical signs of low magnesium are (your pet may show one or a number of these symptoms):

Neurological:  Behavioral disturbances Irritability and anxiety Lethargy Impaired memory and cognitive function Insomnia hyperactive
    Muscular:
Weakness Muscle cramps Impaired muscle coordination (ataxia) Tremors

Excellent absorption supplements of Magnesium and minerals:

Magnesium liquid "ReMag" Magnesium Solution liquid
    ReMag Magnesium liquid
    DOSAGE:
CAT, Toy Dog (other small animals) mix in 4 drops of each liquid formula in liquid drinks or meals.

Med / large Dog: 1/ 2 cap daily.  Elderly pets, slowly increase the amount over a couple of weeks to 1 to 2 caps a day.

    OR    Magnesium Glycinate Powder

Magnesium in the Glycinate seems to be the best-absorbed form of Magnesium, as this magnesium is a chelated form of magnesium that tends to provide the highest levels of absorption and bioavailability and is typically considered ideal for those who are trying to correct a deficiency.
    Dosage instructions provided.

Mineral Magnesium is required for your pet or horse.
Using either "Magnesium Glycinate " powder  (from iherb.com)    or  Magnesium liquid "ReMag"Magnesium drops (HAMPL Code AN284).
Note:  Equines- due to their unique metabolism do not need much of herbs or other supplements, even less than humans and canines.

How important is it to take Magnesium?
Magnesium also makes up bone health. It is also an important relaxant for muscles. As well magnesium stimulates the hormone calcitonin, which helps to preserve bone structure by drawing calcium out of the blood and soft tissues back into the bones. This action helps lower the likelihood of osteoporosis, some forms of arthritis, heart attack and kidney (calcium oxalate stones). So, if you're taking lots of calcium and not much magnesium or none, you are then highly susceptible to these conditions. In fact, it is advised not to take oral calcium supplements with or without magnesium, as we obtain calcium in many types of foods, but magnesium is lost very quickly, from stress, drugs, and calcium. We actually only need to take oral Magnesium with its cofactors (B6 PHP, Zinc and Boron) to aid good absorption. Calcium actually depletes magnesium in the body. Most of us (and pets) are storing calcium in the blood and soft tissues, so we do not need anymore calcium, it is magnesium levels that we need to build up.

Note: RBC magnesium blood test is the only type of test that will revile what is in the cells. Serum Magnesium tests only measure 1% of magnesium in the blood, not the cells of the body.

A review of nutrition and bone health published by the American College of Nutrition, it was noted that among four unique population studies each found a positive correlation between magnesium and bone mineral density.

These studies are backed up by research demonstrating that magnesium deficiency results in:

    Decreased bone strength
    Decreased bone volume
    Poor bone development
Excess release of calcium from bone into the blood without accompanying bone formation.

Even mild magnesium deficiency is reported to be a leading risk factor for osteoporosis. Similarly, the use of calcium supplements in the face of a magnesium deficiency can lead to calcium deposition in the soft tissues, such as the joints, where it can promote arthritis, or in the kidney, contributing to kidney stones.

If your pet has seroconverted, no matter what their age, they do not need another vaccination.  Nor do they need a 'booster' at a year old, as they already have long-lasting immunity.  Dr. Edwards has titre test puppies 2 weeks after initial vaccination if it's positive then they need no more vaccinations  (So - any dog or cat, of any age, can be titre tested 2 weeks after any C3 vaccination.  If your puppy is going to respond, it will have by then.  He has titre tested several puppies after their first vaccination like this, and they've had strongly positive titre levels. Any further vaccinations for these puppies (or kittens) would have been completely unnecessary and may have caused the puppy in question harm.

The whole 'booster' thing is really a false way to describe it - nearly all the so-called 'booster' vaccinations administered to our pets are completely unnecessary.

Weakness in joints and spine which cause Inflammation and pain in joints, spine area can be often associated with a vitamin or mineral deficiencies.   Thus continued vaccinations that severely deplete vitamin c and magnesium (stress), will make your dog more susceptible to injuries and tears.

Vitamin C is an anti-inflammatory that helps reduce and prevent inflammation and swelling. Research has shown that high doses of vitamin C  given orally or in meals has been shown to reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. We have had great improvement seen when vitamin C is restored back into the body.

Over vaccinations will severely deplete the body of Vitamin C.  Just to bring this awareness to you, if you have recently allowed a vet to give your pet a vaccination (over-vaccination), then this would be the cause of such pain now.   Unfortunately, your vet will not associate this pain - acute or chronic - (or should we say admit) that many health joints, skin disease conditions are from side effects of vaccinations.

Dr. Ronald Schutz's  research around duration of immunity  NO PET SHOULD EVER BE RE - VACCINATED, NOT EVER, WITHOUT A TITRE TEST TO SEE IF IT'S ACTUALLY NEEDED.  It makes no difference what country you live in, either.

    2.   Canine Oral Nosodes

Oral nosodes have been used in homeopathic medicine since the mid-1800s. Nosodes are relatively unknown in veterinary practice and somewhat controversial in holistic veterinary practice. Many benefits have been noted, including a decrease in the severity and frequency of disease. Although nosodes are still controversial as a replacement for traditional vaccinations, evidence of their safety and efficacy is growing.

    What are Nosodes?
Nosodes are specialized homeopathic remedies that are prepared by taking the actual diseased matter from a sick animal such as diseased tissue or nasal discharge. The preparation of a nosode involves a lengthy process of succussion and dilution of the original material using traditional homeopathic protocols until virtually no molecules of the crude substance remain, rendering the nosode safe for use. This process, called potentization, inactivates the original disease substance and converts the material into a bioenergetic remedy which interacts with the body_Ñés energy field. The final product is a potent remedy that is an energetic blueprint of the actual disease.

    Human Nosode Research
Dr. Isaac Golden, an Australian homeopath, has done extensive research in the field of homeopathic childhood immunizations. Working directly with families who agreed to participate in a clinical trial of typical childhood diseases, Dr. Golden concluded that homeopathic immunizations were 90.4% effective. From 2001 to 2004, Dr. Golden also studied vaccine safety compared to homeopathic immunizations. He found that children who received standard vaccines were 15 more times likely to get asthma, 7 times more likely to get eczema and 2 times more likely to get allergies than those who were immunized by homeopathic preparations.
His work is published in his groundbreaking books, Vaccinationand Homeoprophylaxis: A Review of Risks and Alternatives, and Homeoprophylaxis: A Ten Year Clinical Study.

    Homeopathic Immunization in Dogs
Dr. Christopher Day, a British veterinary homeopath, has been using nosodes in his practice for 35 years. Evidence of reduced rates of distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirus and kennel cough has encouraged him to recommend nosodes to his clients for prevention and treatment of disease. In 1985, Dr. Day documented the successful use of nosodes in a kennel cough outbreak. The trial was done in a daycare and there were 214 dogs participating, including both vaccinated and unvaccinated dogs. The nosode was introduced by placing it in the dogs drinking water. Remarkably, out of a total of 214 dogs that were treated with the kennel cough nosode, the incidence of actual, full-blown disease was only 1.9% out of 214 dogs, and the majority of dogs who did contract kennel cough exhibited only minor symptoms. The vaccinated dogs had a higher incidence of disease at 4.7% whereas only 0.7% of the unvaccinated dogs showed symptoms. Minor symptoms were expressed by 42.5% of the dogs, with 59.7% of vaccinated dogs showing minor symptoms, compared to 26.7% of unvaccinated dogs. This study shows that nosodes can be effective in disease prevention, and when dogs do contract disease, the severity of symptoms can be reduced with their use.

The nosodes do not produce a titer response.

Warning:  Dangers of HEAVY METALS IN VACCINE.

Thimerosal (mercury) - an organic compound containing the heavy metal mercury, which has been widely used as a preservative in vaccines. Mercury is a powerful neurotoxin. It is one of the most potent poisons known to man and has been shown to impair the function of many internal systems, chief among them being the brain, the central nervous system, the endocrine system, and the kidneys, as well as other organs.
Aluminum- another heavy metal used in vaccines as an adjuvant. Adjuvants are often added to vaccines containing killed viruses in order to enhance, or boost the vaccine's effectiveness. Aluminum is a known neurotoxin.
Formaldehyde- classified by the EPA as a probable carcinogen, is used as a tissue fixative in some vaccines. Metals, such as aluminium and mercury, affect the brain and the nerves causing seizures, dementia, hyperactivity in the young pets and brain dysfunction (dementia) in the aged. All organs are susceptible, especially the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, liver and the bone marrow.Toxicity may not be apparent for many years until debilitating nerve disorders become apparent, at which stage, it may be too late. Prophylactics are homeopathic remedies used for disease prevention.

    S
ide effects from vaccines will produce a toxic build-up which may be the  reason for unexplained symptoms such as
(when before vaccine you had a healthy pet) :

    Lack of energy,
    vertigo,
    headaches,
    numbness,
    pins and needles,
    muscle weakness,
    neuralgia,
    behavioural changes,
    hyperactivity,
    learning disability,
    depression,
    insomnia,
    irritability,
    anaemia,
    hypertension,
    abdominal pains,
    loss of weight,
    asthma,
    allergies,
    skin disorders,
    weakened immunity system.

If you happened to have a pet that has a chemical sensitivity, then your pet will have acute and sometimes fatal reactions - within 2 days or same day of injection. Vitamin C is also given along with homeopathic vaccine toxins detox - can sometimes prevent many side effects.

Warning:   Lyme Infection vaccine can cause neurological damage and aggression misdiagnosed as "rage syndrome"

Sudden, serious aggression in a previously well-mannered dog can be a reaction to Lyme vaccine. When it happens to dogs vaccinated in a diligent rescue facility, it is especially tragic.

Dr. Jordan's rescue case history and the dog bite statistics below are connected.  Remember this information when a friend confides in you that their dog has become aggressive. If it is Lyme vaccine-related, it is tragic but having to destroy a beloved pet due to lack of knowledge and foresight is an even worse tragedy.  Inexplicable aggression called Rage Syndrome in Springer Spaniels was attributed to an inherited flaw introduced by an outstanding English import back in the 80s.  Today we would say that dog's "rage syndrome" was caused by having received a full battery of vaccinations, from rabies vaccine to Lyme Disease vaccine, just prior to export.  As 2013 draws to a close, we can state that "rage syndrome" affects all breeds, from Golden Retrievers to Yorkies!

That knowledge raises significant questions.  Why is uncharacteristic and sudden aggression more common in purebred dogs?
Answer: They are more likely to receive a full barrage of vaccines, including Lyme vaccine.

Do mutts and mongrels suffer from sudden unprecedented aggression?
Answer: Yes, but they are more often euthanized or dumped at the shelter than are purebred dogs.

When this was first compiled in early 2011, we were only beginning to learn about excitotoxins in dog foods[1] as causing behavioral anomalies but we had long been aware of sudden aggression as a reaction to certain vaccines known to affect the neurological system.  We do not excuse aggressiveness but it is our duty at TheDogPlace to present emerging information about Lyme Disease vaccines.  If knowledge can save one dog from being PTS (killed) when in fact, it needs veterinary treatment, we will have done our job.

    Lyme Vaccine Background

Some thirty years ago a certain pharmaceutical company charged that a competitor had released a vaccine for Lyme Disease before it had ever been diagnosed in the canine.  At that time, Lyme Disease was extremely rare.  The tick-borne illness was first diagnosed in humans in 1975 and not until about 1984 in the dog.  We refer you to the reference links below for information on the origin of Lyme Disease and the possible connection to the Plum Island research facility[2] near Lyme, Ct. Dog owners, frightened by pharmaceutical hype, rushed to vaccinate their pets against Lyme Disease.
Dog bite statistics[3] are unreliable so we can't correlate the vaccine epidemic to increased aggression or bite statistics but Lyme vaccine today is a non-essential, “non-core vaccine”.  AMVA released the now-famous list of core and non-core vaccines in 2006 when the veterinary associations, red-faced and forced to admit unnecessarily, risky vaccines had been widely recommended, finally relented to public exposure. A large part of that exposure and pressure was due to Project 2000: Vaccines launched by this site and referenced by dozens of veterinary, medical, and other professional sites.

Lyme Disease & Lyme Vaccine Aggression

There appears to be a direct association between Lyme vaccine aggression[5] and the unprecedented rise in school shootings and Dog Bite Statistics (1955 to present) as evidenced in TheDogPress.com

Dr. Jordan reports "The neurological manifestations with Lyme disease or with Lyme Vaccine Disease have a wide range of symptoms; mood disturbanceconfusiondepressionanxiety, and adjustment syndrome as the spirochete is known to penetrate the pituitary gland.

    HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES

    (a) “HOMEOPATHICS”are sold in either a clear liquid or tiny white pills or granules – both have no odour or taste)

Easy “application dosing” for all species:

    • Homeopathic DROPS (clear liquid) DRIP or APPLY 3 to 4 drops, pat into fur/skin with bottom of bottle. i.e. back of shoulder blades (not orally) which is regarded as one dose for all size species and ages. Note: Liquid homeopathics are more suited for feline, toy dog, fish, birds and other small species
    • Homeopathic PILLS (white pills) crush a pill (or whole) and add to gum/pouch of mouth to dissolve in saliva. Does not need to swallow it.
    • Homeopathic GRANULES (white grain) and a small light sprinkle or a pinch to meals, or stir into water trough or bowl.
Casual repeat dosing can add to water bowl or feed dish or water trough for wildlife or farm animals.

Refer to Bottle Label for suggested frequencies repeat dosing needed per day.
    NOTE:
the rule is one must “repeat a dose” more frequently with less time in between each application dose, which is more important than the amount given each time. Repeat application will provide

faster action.

    HERBAL MEDICINES

    (b) “HERBAL MEDICINES ” (brown liquid – strong odour & tasting)
”Application dosing” for all species and sizes:
Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat : add herbal drops (as recommended on bottle label) to some (unsweetened apple sauce or apple juice) for canines and oral syringe side of mouth. Can add other vitamins (crushed) Alkaline green powders etc. to mix.

Refer to Bottle Label for amount of drops per species size. e.g 60 drops = 1 teaspoon

What I do for example: If I was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to a small bowl add some boiled water (about a teaspoon) to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)

    NUTRITION

    (c)“NUTRITIONAL Mix
”
Giving vitamins and supplements (tablets or powders) Note: always crush tablet before adding to food or liquid mix.
Felines or small animals: make up 1 cup of mixture, adding approx. a pinch of some type of Green powder (alkaline powder) or Chlorella powder (cleansing of toxins) or 1/4 Teaspoons of Slippery elm powder (to mask the taste) with 1 teaspoon of herbs if you are having to also give herbal medicines (i.e. brown liquid)
Med to large animals: add twice to three times the amount.

DOSING: Feline or small animal: using an oral syringe draw up 1ml and gently small sips. Or add a teaspoon to meals if they don’t mind eating it with meals (mix well into food) Do not put in Fridge. Room temp is best as too cold is dislike by felines.
DOSING: Canine, equine, cow, sheep, goat: try mixing well into food and hand piece before feeding main meals. Or dose same as suggested for felines, but add three times as much herbal medicines and vitamins to 1/2 cup of water or (unsweetened) apple sauce or apple juice.

What I do for example: If i was needing to give herb treatments and/or vitamin supplements to feline or toy dog or other small animals – I add this herbal formula to 1/2 cup of boiled hot water to it so to dissolve the alcohol in it, let cool, then add what vitamins If needed (powder or crushed tab – a pinch) mixed in another 50ml of water, and oral syringe once a day or twice a day …. smear on a little “vegemite paste” (if cannot get Vegemite in your country, try fresh pate or slippery elm powder added can help mask the taste) around and on tip of oral syringe, as felines seem to real like the taste of this paste, but not too much as it is quite a strong taste)

    Slippery Elm Powder

If needing to add or use Slippery Elm powder

FOR CONDITIONS like …. diarrhea, stomach ulcers, or sore inflamed mouth or mouth ulcers, constipation, or IBS (i.e. colitis), plus it can also been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids.

CONVALESCING ..can been given as a liquid meal given orally via syringe as it is highly nutritional (oral liquid feeding) for convalescing during illness when not eating solids or not eating very well.
~ Add a small amount of powder to the mix to enough to make a runny liquid mix, if you put too much of the powder it will become thick and gluggy, if this happens you will need to add more liquid to it. Can add crushed vitamins and herbal medicines to this as well. OPTIONS: Oral dose in syringe or add to meals three times a day or more to maintain normal health again, then can stop or reduce frequencies.
